Route Overview
This route follows the main line from Jiujiang to Hukou and connects several representative riding sections around the lake district. It combines shoreline roads, loopable local roads, and wide waterfront scenery in a route that works both as a training day and as a destination ride.
Along the way riders can look toward Mount Lushan and pass landscapes shaped by both the Yangtze River and Poyang Lake. The route is mostly rolling rather than mountainous, making it a good single-day option for teams with an established cycling foundation.
Route Highlights
- A roughly 92 km lakeside ride that is compact, purposeful, and manageable in one day.
- Views of the Yangtze, Poyang Lake, and the distant Lushan skyline give the route a strong sense of place.
- Well suited to road-bike endurance training, team conditioning rides, and nearby destination cycling.
- Urban and town sections offer workable replenishment options and allow flexible stop planning based on weather and traffic.
